I have finally “finished” a personal project programming project. It is called the Zombie Translator. The idea isn’t mine, but came from one of the writers of a blog I have contributed to called Survive the Apocalypse. That same guy wrote most of the translation too; pretty funny guy.

I build the site using Google App Engine. I had a good experience, it was easy and fun. I also built it with a REST interface so we are also working on a version that will go on the Survive the Apocalypse but use the same back end.

There are a few improvements I still want to make, but I’m going to spend some time on some other projects and try to get some feedback before I spend much more time on it. If you have any feedback let me know.

There is a new blog that I am contributing to about surviving the apocalypse. It is a series of how to articles, commentary and advise all about surviving apocalypse.

Warning: Some of the language is a little strong, and the topics can be a little heavy. I’d say it’s about a PG-13 website.
